Network Stumbler finds 3 networks in my neighborhood, 1 of which is mine - mine being the stronger of the 3. Easy WiFi RADAR found only my wireless network - even after several "manual" scans (by pushing the "play" button). Easy WiFi RADAR tried to join my network several times to no avail, because the particular PCMCIA card I was using was not whitelisted on the MAC address filter list. I decided to whitelist the WiFi card and try again. Once the card was whitelisted Easy WiFi RADAR did appear to join the Access Point. At least the AP logs showed that my PCMCIA card was no logged on to the AP. There were 2 problems, though; 1. My computer kept freezing up every 10 seconds for about 10 seconds...odd behavior. 2. I couldn't surf the web, which is odd, since I can surf just fine if I join any of my networks through conventional "Microsoft" means. Easy WiFi RADAR did NOT find the original network I had permission to log onto, but was not broadcasting the SSID. I don't see this tool as being any better than using the OEM Windows tools for scanning for open wireless networks. One doesn't need a magic tool to discover and log onto an open network.
Cool looking RADAR .gif.
Worst:Pretty useless product.
